Yes. Periodic vacuum sweeping keeps the voids clear. Skip that and infiltration rates drop over time.
Can permeable pavement handle heavy vehicles?+
Pervious concrete and reinforced porous asphalt sections can handle standard truck and fire lane loads when designed for it. Heavy industrial loading usually needs a hybrid section.
